CLAREMONT, Calif. – For the first time in program history, the Chapman University men's tennis team qualified for the four-team SCIAC Tournament. The Panthers qualified as the No. 4 but fell to top-seeded Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 5-0 on Wednesday.

A sweep of the doubles and two quick singles victories sealed the win for No. 1 CMS.
Aram Izmirian dropped a narrow 7-5 first set and was up 1-0 in the second set when the match was clinched.

With the loss, the Panthers dual season comes to an end. As one of the top ranked players in Division III,
Caleb Wilkins is in line for his second invite to the NCAA Division III Singles Championship in St. Louis, Mo. The announcement of the 32-player field will be made next Wednesday.
