ORANGE, Calif. – Four players from the Chapman University football team were recognized as All-Region by D3football.com. Alexander Terriquez led the Panthers with a Second Team selection while Jacob Gaudi, Gavin Scott and Gio Ursino were honored on the Third Team.

All four selections from the Panthers earned All-SCIAC First Team honors last month with Terriquez highlighting the All-SCIAC teams as the Defensive Athlete of the Year. All four were selected to an All-Region team for the first time in their respective careers.

The Panthers had another solid year on the gridiron with their four All-Region selections leading the way. Chapman ended the season 7-3 with a second consecutive run to the SCIAC Championship game after winning the Surf Division.

Terriquez and Gaudi led a defense that ranked 33rd in Division III in total defense and allowed just 20.5 points per game. Scott and Ursino led a potent rushing attack that resulted in the top offense in the SCIAC in terms of yardage and scoring. The Panthers also ranked in the top-20 in time of possession.
