The Panthers clinched the No. 3 seed in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament.

ORANGE, Calif. –A 19-13 Senior Day win over Cal Lutheran clinched the No. 3 seed for the Chapman University men's water polo team in next week's SCIAC Tournament. Senior Nate Randolph led the way with five goals in a match that the Panthers never trailed.

Chapman scored the first three goals of the match and never let the Kingsmen back in. The Panthers had multiple of runs of three-plus goals but held the Kingsmen without a run of multiple goals until the midway point of the fourth quarter.

Randolph added an assist to his five goals and fellow senior Jack Griffth assisted on a pair of goals. Davin Castillo added in a first half hat trick while Jackson Sanders was dominant in goal. He made 15 saves and came away with a pair of steals.

After going up 3-0 to start the match, Chapman built up an 11-5 halftime lead. Through the second half, the lead extended to as much as eight goals but the teams matched each other throughout the final 16 minutes as Chapman secured the win.
