ORANGE, Calif. — Women's volleyball suffered a tough loss to No. 21 La Verne on Friday, Sept. 29, 3-0.
The Panthers led for the majority of the first set with four huge kills from Olivia Sampson and three from Julin Kenison. The Leopards would battle back to take the set 25-23.
From there the Leopards dominated the remainder of the match winning set two 25-14 and set three 25-20.Â
Sampson led the way with nine kills, no one finished in the double digits.
The Panthers, now 5-8 on the season, look to bounce back tomorrow against Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks at 6 pm.
