ORANGE, Calif. — A pair of hat tricks and a barrage of goals left men's water polo victorious over Whittier on Saturday, Oct. 28, 18-5.

Everett Prussak and Andrew Blanco both netted three goals in the victory. Blanco scored all three of his goals in the fourth quarter. Freshman Davin Castillo also added two goals to the party as 12 different Panthers found the back of the net.

Defensively, Ben Blatt was stout in goal saving 70% of the shots he faced — seven of ten — and he added three steals to the stat sheet.

Sahak Abrahamyan and Prussak tallied three assists apiece.

With the victory, Chapman improved to 11-8 on the season and 6-3 in SCIAC play. They will host Occidental on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. with hopes to grow their lead even further ahead of the Tigers in the SCIAC standings.
