ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's soccer season came to an end with a 2-2 draw against visiting Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. Seniors Ryan Bridge, Treyden Buder-Nakasone and Jake Williams were honored before the game for Senior Day.

Williams helped the Panthers get on the boards first when his long throw-in to the box found the head of Wesley Jackson, who flicked it into the side netting for a 1-0 lead. Buder-Naksone scored Chapman's other goal when he converted a penalty kick to a game-tying goal in the 68th minute.

Pomona-Pitzer scored their first goal in the19th minute on a penalty from Niclas Ulrich and Keyon Namdar scored the go-ahead goal in the 57th minute from the right side of the 18-yard box, bending it inside the far post.

Chapman took 18 shots to Pomona-Pitzer's 11 and both teams pushed forward in the second half as they combined to take 20 shots in the final 45 minutes of their respective seasons.

The Panthers end the season in fifth place in the SCIAC standings with a record of 3-3-6 in the SCIAC and 6-5-6 overall, equaling last year's team for the most draws in a season in school history.
