Jesse McMillan joins the Chapman track & field coaching staff after graduating as the best pole vaulter in program history in 2025.
McMillan set and reset the Chapman pole vaulting record continuously through his five years on campus. He qualified for four NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships and two Indoor Championships. He was the national runner-up at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.
He won a SCIAC title in the pole vault and was All-SCIAC multiple times as well as earning All-SCIAC in the high jump.
McMillan won the SCIAC Dixon Farmer Award as a senior and was also named the Chapman University Male Sports Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
