Charlie Werman returns to Chapman in 2025 as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with both tennis programs. Werman was a successful player at Chapman and has gone on to find continual success on the tennis courts.
Werman graduated from Chapman in 2017 as the all-time singles and doubles wins leader at Chapman and held both records until Caleb Wilkins eclipsed the singles wins record in 2024. He was an All-SCIAC selection as a senior and earned multiple SCIAC All-Academic honors.
He continues to play tennis competitively in Open Leagues and won the 2024 USTA Men's Open Team Championship. He also jumped into a private tennis coaching career in addition to his professional work in finance, training multiple high level tennis players.
He graduated in 2017 from Chapman with a degree in Business Finance.
