ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University had 16 student-athletes honored as Academic All-District honorees by the College Sports Communicators in June. The Panthers were represented by eight student-athletes on the at-large teams and eight more on the track & field/cross country teams.

In the at-large category, selected student-athletes must be key contributors in their sport and meet the minimum participation standard while maintaining a 3.5 GPA to qualify for Academic All-District honors. In the track & field/cross country category, student-athletes must maintain the same 3.5 GPA while also ending the season with a top-50 regional ranking in a single event or a top-50 finish at the regional cross country meet in the fall.
