ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's tennis team concluded the 2024 season with a 9-0 sweep of visiting Whittier. The Panthers improved to 7-8 on the year and 3-4 in the SCIAC – fifth place in the conference standings.

Chapman made quick work of the Poets with doubles victories of 8-2, 8-4 and 8-3 to sweep the three doubles points. The Panthers dominated in singles as well as they won all six matches in straight sets with no one dropping more than three games in any given set.

Alexis Golin finished off a breakout year at the top of the lineup with a 10-5 singles record. With a straight set win at No. 6, Racquel Fhima finished 11-5 on the year to close out her senior season. Olivia Desso also finished up her career with a straight set win for the Panthers.

The Panthers ended the season in fifth place in one of the toughest tennis conferences in Division III.
