ORANGE, Calif. – Alexis Golin won her third match of the spring but the Chapman University women's tennis team fell 8-1 to No. 28 Bowdoin.
Golin won 6-4, 6-3 in the top singles match and is now 3-1 at the top of the lineup this spring. Golin's win was the Panthers only point as Bowdoin swept all three doubles matches and clinched the team victory with three startight set singles wins.
Both Olivia Desso and Lucy Erickson battled to second set victories to force the third set but ultimately fell.
The Panthers are back on the court on Friday at 1 p.m. to take on Washington University.
