CARLISLE, Pa. –
Annika Carlson became the first cross country All-American in Chapman history as she finished 39th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Amelia Jauregui also ran in national championship meet, finishing 132nd.
Carlson moved up the field throughout the race to finish with All-American honors. She is the first Panther on the men's or women's cross country team to earn NCAA Division III All-American honors. Carlson finished with a time of 21:50.0.
Jauregui came in the middle of the pack, finishing at 22:45.6.
A record-breaking season appropriately ends with more history being made as two runners represented Chapman for the first time in school history at the national championships and had the first All-American finisher in school history.
