ORANGE, Calif.— Chapman men's basketball guard Jake Heberle has been named the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week. The senior led Chapman to two massive conference victories over top five Redlands and Pomona-Pitzer. 

Heberle had a monster game against Redlands going for 22 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Chapman went on to win the game 75-63. Against Pomona-Pitzer, Heberle has a season-high 25 points along with eight rebounds. Chapman won the game 80-68 to start off SCIAC play 2-0. 

Heberle is currently averaging 19.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He currently ranks top three in the conference in scoring and top five in rebounding.
